There are hundreds of applications that companies use for marketing and sales: marketing automation platforms, emailing applications, marketing AI, advertising, social media marketing, CRM, project management – you name it.

In many cases, your cloud applications turn into data silos, and are not able to seamlessly communicate with each other. As a result, you waste time “ping-ponging” your data between multiple tools, or you have to request a custom integration from your IT department which can be rather time-consuming. Sounds familiar?

That is why we released the new Data Blend editor that will help you to easily integrate data and automate complex data flows across multiple applications, without the need to involve your IT department.

Data Blend editor

The Data Blend editor is an intuitive and yet a very powerful feature of Blendr.io. You can easily build your Data Blends by connecting data blocks. Visual building of data flows and an automatic lookup of linked data ensures smooth set up of your data workflow.

Connect your applications, drag and drop corresponding Blendr.io blocks and link them to data source blocks to create your Data Blends.

Blendr.io data blocks

Loops – the Loop Block allows iterating over items in a list. This is handy when you want to process items (records) one by one.
Conditions – use the Condition Block inside a Data Blend to make the flow conditional, for example, do this when X is true, and do something else otherwise.
Variables – variables are typically used to temporarily store and transform data during the execution of the Data Blend.

Data Source blocks

Data source Blocks are used to interact with one of your connected data sources.

For example, if you have connected Hubspot, you will see Hubspot listed in the Data Blend editor under “My Datasources”. When you click Hubspot, you will see a list of available Blocks. Each block performs a specific action, e.g. reading data, updating data or triggering an action.

Tip: Want to know what data flows you can automate? Go to blendr.io/integrations and visit your application page to find out what is possible.

The Data Blend editor is targeted to citizen “power users”, for example, technical marketers who need to automate the workflow of collecting & processing data, or people who need to trigger certain actions based on particular conditions in different tools.

Data Blend templates

There is also an easier way to set up your integrations. You can use templates with a setup wizard. The wizard will guide you through the process by asking to connect the required tools, setting the mapping and fields, configuring the schedule and more – you just need to follow the 3 steps.

You can also customize when you want your Data Blend to execute. It can be a manual run – just at the moment you hit “Run” button, scheduled in a time frame and with a certain frequency or based on a certain trigger.

Save time on manual data exporting & importing and other repetitive actions, integrate your cloud applications, automate data flows and enhance the use of new technology like AI. Blendr.io has 100+ connectors to marketing automation platforms, CRM, advertising tools, social media, project management, data warehouses, machine learning and more.
